What new summer games cosmetics are coming? So far we have confirmed skins for Symmetra, Ashe, Mei, Winston, and Sigma. With the skins for Symmetra, Mei, and Ashe being legendary. Other heroes are likely to get cool new skins as well! Also we can expect the usual event themed skins, emotes, voice lines, highlight intros, and victory poses to match our coveted new skins.

How to earn summer games lootboxes? To earn the special summer games lootboxes you have your usual slew of options to pick from. Leveling up, winning arcade matches, and getting endorsements are all solid methods for obtaining them. As usual Blizzard will probably hand out a few just for logging in during the event. You can also buy more lootboxes from the blizzard store. Cosmetics are also unlockable by spending in game credits earned from getting duplicate items from your lootboxes.

What kind of rewards can we expect? Like most events we can expect the 3 weekly challenges each rewarding you with a player icon, spray, and unique skin in that order for playing and winning matches. These can’t be unlocked through lootboxes so no matter how fat your wallet is make sure you play through these challenges.

Are these event items exclusive to this event only? Well yes… but actually no. Once the anniversary event rolls around again all of the cosmetic items available during this event should be up for grabs again. Until then however they will gone unless you managed to unlock them.
