  • Gather or catch 300 collectables
  • Craft 100 collectables
  • Reach level 80 in any Disciple of the Hand
  • Reach level 80 in any Disciple of the Land

How to fly?

You’ll only unlock flying once you finish the “The Ultimate Weapon” quest in A Realm Reborn.

Chocobo companions can automatically have the ability to fly or you can use a flying mount.

How to place furniture?

Go to Housing in the social menu and choose Indoor Furnishing.

You can select the furniture you want, as well as move and rotate to the spot you want.

How to meld materia?

You can meld materia in two ways: through a Materia Melder NPC or do it yourself.

Having a Materia Melder do it for you comes with a fee but has no level requirement.

You’ll often find them near one of the Market Boards.

To do it yourself, you have to complete the Walking Spirit quest.

After completing the quest, you’ll unlock the Materia Melding ability.

How to feed a chocobo?

Put your Chocobo in the Chocobo Stable, then open the options and choose Tend my Chocobo.

You’ll get a new menu with an option to Feed my Chocobo.

You can feed them different fruits or vegetables.

How to join a grand company?

After completing the main story quests at about level 20, you’ll have the chance to join a grand company.

You can choose which to join and can eventually transfer to the other grand companies too.

How to hire a retainer?

You can do so by talking to a Retainer Vocate. They’re often found near the Market Board.

How to become a bard?

The requirements to become a bard are:

  • completing level 20 MSQ, Sylph Management
  • completing level 30 ARC class quest, The One That Got Away
  • having a level 30 Archer
  • completing the quest, A Song of Bards and Bowmen

After completing the A Song of Bards and Bowmen, equip the Soul of the Bard to become a bard.

How to level up a chocobo?

There are several ways you can do this.

Your Chocobo needs EXP in order to level up and the simplest way to do that is by killing monsters in the field.

This takes some time so there’s another method you can try.

If you’ve got a Chocobo stable, you can do stable training.

Feed them every hour any of these foods and they’ll gain EXP: Krakka Root, Curiel Root, Sylkis Bud, Mimett Gourd, Tantalplant, Pahsana Fruit, Thavnairian Onion.

Ensure to keep the stable clean so you don’t get a penalty.

How to get a chocobo?

When you get to level 20 and join a grand company, you can get the My Little Chocobo quest.

You can get a Chocobo Mount at about level 20 and above by way of the Main Scenario Quests.

You can unlock your Chocobo Companion, who will fight alongside you, at about level 30 and above.

How to recruit a friend?

Go to the Mogstation website and log in your account.

Under the “Your Account” tab, you’ll find the Recruit A Friend option. Input your friend’s email address and a short message of up to 500 characters.

When do I get my chocobo?

You can get a Chocobo mount at about level 20+ and a Chocobo Companion at about level 30+.

Log in to the mogstation website and go to the “Your Account” tab.

Click on the “Select Service Account” and choose your service account.

Then under the “Registration Codes”, choose Enter Recruitment Code.

What is Eureka?

The Forbidden Land, Eureka, is an island within the Isle of Val. It’s a special 144-man instanced area where you can evolve Relic gear and explore the zone. To get here, you have to first finish the main scenario quest Stormblood and complete the “And We Shall Call it Eureka” quest.

How to get Chocobo mount?

The two main requirements of getting a Chocobo mount are being leveled 20+ and joining a Grand Company. You can then clear the “My Little Chocobo” quest and buying a Chocobo License for 200 seals from your Grand Company Quartermaster.

How long is a day?

One day in-game is equivalent to an hour and 10 minutes in real-time.

Which grand company to choose?

So the three grand companies are based in the main cities, but you don’t have to choose the company from the town you started in.

The best advice is to choose the company that seems the most interesting to you.

This includes weapons, gear, and aesthetics.

The Immortal Flames is based in the city of Ul’dah. They’re made up of mercenaries and war veterans.

The Order of the Twin Adder is from the city of Gridania.

The company includes mages and archers.

The Maelstrom is based in the city of Limsa Lominsa, and they’re a naval force.

How to make macros in ff14?

Open the main menu, then select the User Macro option.

The individual tab is for the character you’re using right now.

The shared tab is a general tab for all the characters you have.

You can then choose what macro number you want, name it, and select a macro icon. Then you can add the script.

How to change Chocobo color?

Feed them a combination of snacks while it’s in their stable. It’ll change color (after enough snacks) after a minimum of 6 hours in real-time.

What to do with old gear?

Most gear can be used by multiple classes, so you can keep them just in case.

Or some items can be given to your Grand Company for seals.

Other times, you can sell to vendors. Or an NPC in Doma called Kozakura can be sold items for a higher price than regular vendors. (Though this has its own quest to have access to this NPC).

How to become a samurai?

You should have the Stormblood expansion and be level 50 as a Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic to become a samurai.

Start the “The Way of the Samurai” quest through an NPC in Ul’dah – Steps of Nald.

How to join a free company?

Search for them on the Lodestone Free Company search portal. Find an online representative of the Free Company you want to join.

To do this, you can search the company’s Member List then search the in-game Player Search for the representative.

Click the rep’s name, choose “View Company Profile,” then select “Submit Application.”

Where to spend poetics?

Spend your Tomestones of Poetics on level 50-70 gear, gear for glamour, relic weapon materials, or gardening supplies.

How to get regalia?

You need 200,000 MGP and can be bought during the “A Nocturne for Heroes” event. You can get it from Ironworks Vendor in the Gold Saucer.

How to unlock hunts?

To get mark bills in the Hunt board, you have to reach level 50, rank Second Lieutenant in your Grand Company, then clear the “Let the Hunt Begin” quest.

For Clan Hunts (Heavenward), you have to reach level 53 first and the first quest to clear is “Let the Clan Hunt Begin.”

For Veteran Clan Hunt (Stormblood), you need to be level 61, and you have to have finished the “Elite and Dangerous” quest.

For the Nutsy Clan Hunt (Shadowbringers), you have to have unlocked all of the other hunt boards and completed the “Elite and Dangerous” quest.

How to get to gold saucer ff14?

Make sure to finish either of these quests: the main scenario quest: the Gridanian Envoy, the Ul’dahn Envoy, or the Lominsan Envoy.

To unlock, clear the “It Could Happen to You” questline.

How to get to heavensward?

You need to be level 50 at least at one job and have completed the A Realm Reborn missions.

The free trial now includes the Heavensward expansion, so you don’t need to own it to get to Heavensward.
